INTRODUCTION

The Second Japan-Korea Workshop on Digital Holography and Information Photonics (DHIP2012) will be held in Tokushima, Japan, from November 19 to 21, 2012. This is the second workshop which covers overall aspects on digital holography and information photonics and related technologies, 3D display, optical correlators, holographic microcscopy, GPU computing,spatial light modulators, nano-photonics for information processing and optical data storage, ranging from their fundamental physics and technologies to practical systems. The first Korea-Japan Workshop on Digital Holography and Information Photonics (DHIP2011) was successfully held in Seoul, Korea. The DHIP2012 is sponsored by the Group of Information Photonics of the OSJ, The Optical Society of Japan (JSAP) and also in cooperation with Tokushima Prefecture Tourist Association.

Under a fine weather, 20 min walk is a best way. For example, Toyoko Inn Tokushima Ekimae To Conference Venue (Memorial Hall at Alumini Building) is available at the following URL: http://goo.gl/maps/HxdV9. Please enjoy walking inside the central park, which was the place of Tokushima Castle.

In a rainy day, taxi is recommended. It usually takes within 10 min (15 min, in morning traffic jam) and 700–800 yen by taxi. If you take a taxi, please say "TOKUDAI KOHGAKUBU" (Faculty of Engineering, Univ. of Tokushima) At the gate, you can say Memorial Hall or just "conference", the taxi will be instructed to go to the venue.
