Information of Abstract and Manuscript Submission:
A selected number of contributed papers will be accepted for presentation. Authors are requested to submit a 50-word Abstract and a two-page manuscript electronically via the Registration System by May 31, 2008.
50-word Abstract
Abstracts should be a maximum of 50 words of text. If accepted, these will be printed in the Advanced Program. Abstracts longer than 50 words will be shortened by the program committee for the Advanced Program.
Two-page Manuscript
Authors are required to submit electronically an original two-page manuscript in PDF format.
Accepted papers will be published in the Technical Digest.

Copyright Transfer Agreement
The copyright of articles published in the IP2008 Technical Digest is to be transferred to the Optical Society of Japan (OSJ).
Authors are required to agree to the transfer of copyright and send the agreement by fax to the Secretariat of IP2008.

Notification of Acceptance
Authors will be notified electronically of the acceptance of their paper by August, 2008.
Post Deadline Papers
A limited number of post deadline papers will be accepted for oral or poster presentation. The authors should bring their printed 50-word abstract and their printed 2-page manuscript to the registration desk by 5 pm, November 16, 2008. The authors should prepare both the oral and poster presentation. Please see the guideline in both presentation styles. Review result will be noticed at the registration desk by 10 am, November 17, 2008.
